 July 4th Weekend

To celebrate hosting the Elvis Tribute Artist World Cup, Cardiff is staging a 2 day July 4th Weekend.

Two Preliminary Heats will be held on a free public stage in The Hayes, central Cardiff, lunchtime on Saturday 3rd July and Sunday 4th July. Saturday will be a an open round, where each Finalist performs a song of their choice. On Sunday, as part of a free Gospel Show hosted by the Rockin' Reverend Steve Caprice, each contestant will be judged on their delivery of the music that most inspired Elvis.

The Elvis World Cup Final will take place on the evening of Sunday July 4 in the St David's Concert Hall, Cardiff, Wales.

Each National Qualifier will perform two songs of his, or her, choice, backed by the Red Alert, widely recognized as the World's leading Elvis backing band.

The panel of Judges will then select three of the Finalists to return and perform another two songs before the Winner is crowned.
